Here's the thing.

The thing about Malaysian politics is, it's like a big circus show run by a bunch of clowns, contemplating the nation's destiny in their hands. It's a poor slapstick comedy played on both the domestic and international arenas, really.

I've kept my mouth shut for a very long time from lashing out on Malaysian politics, but here's my two cents anyway.

Regarding the latest issue of switching back BM in teaching Science and Maths, it's just downright atrocious. First they tell us our children are losing out to international competitors, because our English standard is by no means on par with kids from other countries. So what did they do? They implemented English as teaching medium in Maths and Science - which is a practical solution, one would say.

And then they tell us that our children cannot cope with the language (because they are taught by teachers with lousy English) and after a looooong discussion, they come up with a "brilliant" solution - to go back to the roots of the problem and continue to teach our children in BM but "add more contact hours for English classes".

Right.

Then there's another issue like "Political Secretary Found Dead Near MACC Office". The deceased (political secretary to Selangor legislative assembly member Ean Yong Hian Wah) was taken in for questioning by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Wednesday and was released from the Selangor's headquarters subsequently. He was found dead on the fifth floor of the building.

Foul play, perhaps? But let's leave that to the police to do their job (if they really do their job, that is), because i don't want to assume something out of thin air. Wanna know what's the most atrocious twist in the story? I'll tell you what:

The MACC office doesn't have a freaking CCTV installed in their building.

O___O

I think i've said enough.

And i'll keep believing in clouds with that sweet silver lining.

I've put this post off for far too long, because i couldn't gather my thoughts together. Now that i have, i couldn't put my thoughts into words because they sound like gibber jabber when they come out.

#1 I don't know where to start, because i know.

#2 When my time comes...help me leave behind some reasons to be missed.

#3 "In life, we need to adopt the F.I. Theory*; it makes life easier," said he.

#4 Don't waste your whole life trying to get back what was taken away.

#5 The question remains, "Have i been taken seriously?"

I beg your pardon (for what, really?). I've been writing this post for the past one month, but erased everything each time i typed something. I'm not the kind of person who publishes her personal life on a public blog for everyone to see, and this post will still remain pointless because i still have not said anything. =/

*F.I. Theory stands for Fuck It Theory, coined by a friend of mine.

Ok i'm done whining.

I put my MSN private message as "naked metamorphosis" to mark the exploration/journey that my soul has experienced/embarked on, whatever (long story; i might or might not blog about this - i'm still contemplating if i should cuz it's a little too personal for me), and somebody replied me:

*naked?
*WHO?

Boom Boom Pow.

My classmates and i went all the way to KL to club at MOS last week because we're cool like that. They stayed at my place for a coupla days and i showed them around town. Well, kinda showed them around due to time-constraint.

But it felt more like a food trip actually. We weighed ourselves after meal and each of us gained 1kg omfg. Sorry no food pictures because we'd only remembered to snap pictures after gobbling up em' food ._.

No clubbing pictures also because we were too busy downing Chivas and doing the moonwalk dance to MJ's songs OKAY WHO AM I KIDDING. The pictures are with Chor Wai's friend and i ingeniously forgot to ask from her FML.

A few pictures from the trip (actually quite alot also so you can stare and kiss your monitor screens upon the delight of seeing my face wtf) (yah i'm narcissistic liddat kenot izt wtf):

#1 Boy with toy. *envy

#2 L-R: Chor Wai, Qin Yee, moi, Thava.

#3 Do. Re. Mi.

#4 Fish spa!

#5 Guess which pair of legs is mine!

#6 Muka tahan geli.

#7 Muka tak tahan geli.

#10 @ Aquaria KLCC.

#11 We raced with school-kids for the perfect spot to watch the feeding shows. Haih why are we so Chinese wtf.

#12 Infidelity WTF. (look at the degree of shiokness on Chor Wai's face)

#13 Chimpanzee (wannabes) on strike wtf.

Okay. I've never done this before in my entire 4 years of blogging journey but for the very first time, i'm gonna post a picture of me in a very image-jeopardizing position, and you only saw it here first on kissmeunderthemistletoe.blogspot.com:

#14 This is how i usually drive, minus the cursing that you cannot see in the picture above. But in my defense hor, the traffic at KL is really horrible and my leg was very tired so i needed to rest it ma. *innocent face

#15 Proof that i am still capable of posing decently for a photograph - have to do some damage control wtf.

My mom taught us how to play lami (a kind of mahjong game) and we got addicted to it! Now our hands very itchy wanna play edi but no mahjong blocks so kenot play. :( But it's ok cuz Chor Wai's going home to bring a set of mahjong blocks muahahaha. :D

Okla the end thxbaimwah. *abrupt ending cuz the author's beat.

Hot chick.

Here's a lil' something to divert all that negativity:

Introducing the newest addition to the family. :)

So now i've got 2 dogs, a bear and a chicken plus me sleeping on my tiny little bed. It's time to get a bigger bed. Hee.

And here's what i didn't say...

I wish i was half as strong as you are; i don't know how you do it.
I'm not strong. I've learnt to suffer in silence - that's what i do.

Hello. Goodbye.

Veinte uno.

Some words of wisdom:

"Because i don't live in either my past or my future. I'm interested only in the present. If you can concentrate always on the present, you'll be a happy man. You'll see that there's life in the dessert, that there are stars in the heavens, and that tribesmen fight because they are part of the human race. Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we're living right now."

- Excerpt from "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.

Happy birthday to me. :)

Quickie.

  • My holidays officially commenced on the 30th of May at 5.30pm, after the invigilator collected my answer sheet for Law of Torts II. Throws out arms and confetti, plays music, performs celebration ritual, yada yada yada.
  • Heavy packing and unpacking on Sunday, only to find that i left my lappie charger in Malacca FML.
  • Went back to Malacca to grab the goddamned charger on Monday.
  • Flying to Singapore on June the 7th!!!!!
  • Damn, typing in point form IS addictive...

I think i'll delete this...maybe not.

  • Under normal circumstances (read: not sleep deprived) i don't rant about how i detest exam weeks tremendously because i don't think that my readers (if i have any) would like to read the pathetic endless pointless complaint marathons of a windbag.
  • But certainly, this is an exceptional occasion because my brain has given up on me and gone on a world tour due to input overload - just like it did a thousand million times before. Please bear with the poor soul for a while. Hee.
  • It finally rained last night! Hip hip hooray!!! =D
  • I'm still recovering from a nervous shock after seeing my mid-term result. Moral of the story? Never say never WTF.
  • The very sight of my Computer Law notes irritates me to no end and i wanna jab my eyes with a pen. No la i lied. Actually i wanna jab my lecturer in the eyes using my pen. (Can't blame me. I'm too spent for the day and the lecturer's really a pain in the bottom.)
  • I need to go on a shopping spree. My wardrobe is in dire need of divine intervention wtf.
  • Who the hell goes to Carrefour and comes back with only ONE tube of hair conditioner? Oh wait, i think that's me.
  • Starbucks' Cappuccino is splendid.
  • I think i'll forsake my 21st birthday celebration in Australia because i did badly in my mid-terms and my guilty conscious tells me that i deserve it. :(
  • I doubt anyone's still reading me at this point...
  • I've just founded a new religion and i have a follower already! Ramen. :P
  • I'm gonna lapse into hibernation soon. VERY soon.
  • I invented the exclamation, "Holy Molly Crazy Scary Sally!".™
  • Taylor Swift is religion; Rascal Flatts is salvation.
  • I need to come up with a witty and convincing justification as to why i need a DSLR as my birthday pressie and i'm open to suggestions! :D
  • Why am i typing in point form again?
